Frequently Asked Shipper Questions
You can ship just about anything as long as it’s not illegal. Whether you need help sending documents across town or picking up a piece of furniture, TripShip allows you to send and receive items without breaking the bank. Based on your delivery needs, we’ll match you with a Tripper who will handle your trip from start to finish.
Once you have signed up for an account, you can begin sending items! Our app is user-friendly and easy to navigate. Simply enter your item pickup location, destination, delivery speed, approximate size, additional insurance if needed, and any other information your Tripper needs to know to successfully complete your delivery. Once you’ve placed your order, you can track your package in real time within the app and even message your Tripper with any additional information or questions.The payment method you choose when creating the account will be used to charge the delivery fee.
All of our Trippers are required to undergo a full criminal background check along with running their Motor Vehicle Report. They then go through the “TripShip Tripper Orientation”, giving them the training and knowledge they need to insure the safety and security of your items. Your delivery can be viewed in real time within the TripShip app, and we provide a Driver Support Line for instant communication with us if a problem arises. Item safety, customer service and satisfaction are our foremost priorities.

To become a Tripper with TripShip, we require your vehicle to be no more than ten (10) years old, be in proper working condition and pass all motor vehicle road compliance. We also require that regular maintenance is conducted regularly to ensure vehicle, driver and package safety.
TripShip requires that all new Trippers complete a background check and meet the following criteria:
- You have a valid US Driver’s License held for at least 2 years, and are 21 years of age or older
- You are not a registered sex offender
- You have not had a county or national criminal charge(s) in the last 7 years which
includes (Disorderly conduct, shoplifting, corporal injury, Public Intoxication,
Trespassing, possessing an illegal controlled substance, vandalism, cybercrime) - You have not had a felony conviction in the last 7 years
- You have had no more than 3 minor moving violations in the last 2 years
- You have had no major moving violations in the last 5 years
- You have had no more than 3 DUI/DWI violations in the last 3 years
TripShip believes that once a job is done and a Tripper fulfills the delivery, they should be paid immediately. The compensation for delivery will be transferred to your selected funding platform as soon as your trip is completed.
We require a full criminal background check along with a Motor Vehicle Report to insure the safety of shipments as well as Shippers, Trippers and all individuals involved. We run a stringent background check and application process to ensure that the best service is provided to our customers.
